| Description: This Norman Durand Original has brown satin and black velvet beautifully folded into pleats then placed side by side to swirl into a luxerious hat design that is a hip form of a sultan's turban. The top has a black velvet rolled up to finish this exciting look that has an Art Deco influence. This hat is a wonderful example of the late 50's-60's whimsical hats and was an expensive hat for its time. The label reads Norman Durand Original. One small section of velvet has the material base but not the velvet at the crown section, and one section of satin has a run but these imperfections would not be noticed when worn. The price reflects these flaws. |
