Shop Name: Orlando Vintage
Circa: Turn of the Century
Description: This is authentic black petticoat which originated from the elegant city of Paris circa 1890s. The drawstring waist and underlayer are made of a thick linen, while the outer layer is comprised of black silk. The silk layer is made of four tiers of fabric. The two middle tiers each have eight gathered ruffles for added shape and texture. The bottom tier has vertical pleats, which look incredible when they peak out from underneath a skirt! But don't let the term ''petticoat'' fool you, because this amazing piece can be worn as a skirt by itself!
