Inquire About This Item
Shop Name: Metro Retro
Circa: 1970s
Description: Dance the night away in this luxurious silky jersey. The bodice is designed as a beautiful halter with a jeweled neckline that at the top encases in elastic spagetti straps sweep to the back. To accent an empire waist, a rutched cumberbund with vertical stitching in the center creates flowing horizontal pleats, and the dress skirt gently flows from it. The back of this sophisicated dress is as stunning as the front. The silky jersey fabric drapes down the back bodice and forms a keyhole opening in the center. The top of the halter in the back closes with a pearly purple button with loop. Above the rutching in the back, a hook and eye and zipper have been placed. The dress is in mint condition except in the inside of the dress by the rutching a small 1/16'' hole was created when the dry cleaner's tag was removed (see attached photo). The hole is on an extra layer of fabric near the inside zipper and does not affect the appearance of the dress when worn.
Measurements:  Bust is 34'', waist is 26'', hips are 44'' and length is 44''.
